Oscar T. Uranga
Oscar Uranga is Selva Partners’ Director for Geographic Information Systems, Graphics and Technology.
Complemented by a degree in geography from California State University Fullerton, Uranga has applied his expertise in Geographic Information Systems, graphics and information management in a range of public and private sector contexts in the United States, transportation agencies, municipalities, two of America’s top planning and environmental services firms, and most recently, working closely with Greg Vail on the management of the Aliso Creek Redevelopment Plan.
From this variety of experience, Uranga has developed expertise in handling the many elements needed to bring a sustainable land use venture to fruition, including LEED (Leadership and Excellence in Environmental Design) and related audits. His GIS specialization allows him to produce high quality analyses and syntheses of complex planning challenges rapidly and effectively. He has expertise in organizational aspects of land use planning and his background in software programming and Internet applications bring added value to our clients and collaborators. He also has capabilities in electronic graphic communications, public presentations and documentation.
Uranga is bi-lingual and bi-cultural in Spanish.
