Fuscoe Engineering – Water Quality Permits Management, Tracking, Reporting Database Application.
Prepared upgrades to five non-normalized legacy Access databases with live data and was asked to make upgrades on behalf of a civil engineering firm. Additional features included relative pathing for ease of transport, security, business logic upgrades, normalization of data structure including piping old data into new format, backups, capability to track media (photos & videos)..etc. Databases were kept in Access, development included Access Forms with VBA, ADO, DAO, Microsoft Scripting Runtime.
LSA Associates, Inc – San Diego Gas and Electric Biological Monitoring Tracking, Reporting Database / Application
Designed application to track hardware assignments, scheduling and dispatching of Biologists into the field to document findings and input results into database for summarizing and reporting. Application imports and posts information to shared FTP site for remote data collection. Custom Access Database application was developed using VBA, Photoshop, ADO, DAO and Microsoft Scripting Runtime.
Riverside County Integrated Project, Mid County Parkway (MCP), Riverside County, California
Provided sub-consultant services for LSA Associates to Jacobs Engineering and Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) environmental planning support including the identification of environmental impacts so that resources of all types could be avoided via engineering redesigns or quantified for evaluation in the Environmental Impact Report / Statement (EIR/S). Responsible for the accurate production of maps, graphics and analysis on every section of the EIR/S. Provided documentation for the verification of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and California Department of Fish and Game jurisdictional delineation among other permit applications. Data manager responsible for the storage, distribution, documentation and QAQC of tabular and geographic data layers including base data, environmental constraints and multiple iterations of engineering designs. Management involved constant coordination and meetings with multiple agencies, engineers, offices and sub-consultants.
